MAAME, Inc. provides services to individuals and families in Durham, Wake, Orange, Alamance, and Johnston counties. All other services are accessible virtually via telehealth, in North Carolina. Interested in learning more, please apply for services.
Mental Health Support is provided to birthing people with children ages 0-5. Clients receiving the service will be triaged between three tiers of treatment depending on the frequency and level of intervention personalization. All mental health support is delivered by trained mental health specialists. Services are offered on a sliding scale.
MAAME, Inc. You Matter Peer Support program offers 1-on-1 peer support from dedicated and trained parents who have been through similar experiences. These compassionate peers understand the ups and downs of pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond and are here to lend a listening ear, share their wisdom, and offer guidance. This program provides:

The You Matter 4-week support program is a safe, non-judgmental support group for BIPOC moms. BIPOC birthing people will participate in a group meeting for 8 consecutive weeks where they will be coached to focus and improve their mental health through self-care and stress management techniques.
Participants receive a maternal mental health toolkit to support their journey to mental wellness.

MAAME’s Monthly Yoga: Free Prenatal & Postnatal Sessions. Join us every third Saturday for rejuvenating prenatal and postnatal yoga classes. These free sessions are designed to support your well-being during and after pregnancy, creating a space for relaxation, strength, and community connection.
