MAAME, Inc., is a dedicated team of community-based doulas on a mission to improve health outcomes for Black and Brown birthing families, and families historically excluded from services and resources within the communities they serve. These doulas are vital navigators and connectors, bridging the gap between healthcare, social services, and community networks. They work tirelessly to ensure that services are provided in a culturally enriching manner.

Our community-based doulas work and reside within these communities, further strengthening their ties and understanding. They receive thorough training and ongoing education to stay updated on the latest evidence-based practices, empowering them to provide expert care with a deep cultural sensitivity.
